Boise Greenbelt
The Boise Greenbelt follows the Boise river from Lucky Peak dam through downtown Boise and Garden City. It is common to see ducks and fish and even Bald Eagles. This 25 mile long bike and pedestrian path is used year round. It is also used as access to fishing spots and for kayakers. The Bose River is popular in the summer for floating.
Boise Foothills
The Foothills are open to the public and many mountain bike enthusiasts enjoy over 130 miles of trails. Here you can see deer, elk, fox and much more. If you are a photo enthusiast, there are amazing sunsets and panoramic views from the foothills.

There are many activities for everyone in Boise to enjoy from nearby outdoor opportunities to many things in town. The Boise Zoo is open year round as well as several museums. Boise has ballet, music festivals, local city fairs and many other planned events throughout the year. Additionally, Boise has professional sports like hockey, baseball and basketball.
