About Eagle, Idaho
About 15 minutes west of Downtown Boise following State Street, you’ll find a small town with a lot of character called Eagle, Idaho. Many characterize Eagle, ID by the coined term “rurban” to describe the city of Eagle as a community that’s maintaining its rural charm in the otherwise increasingly urban setting of Southwestern Idaho.
Much of Eagle is relatively new with many of the new communities and business buildings springing up over the last 10 years. Many of the Boise area’s custom homes and luxury communities surround Eagle. As you drive down Eagle Road or in the country you will find many communities with monument entrances with beautiful landscaped streets and well amenitized.
The beauty of Eagle lies in several distinct differences. The first thing that you will notice is that traffic quickly disperses from the main corridor and therefore gets quiet in the outlying areas. Secondly, Eagle is active. There are lots of people who enjoy the river or biking. You will see people downtown enjoying a coffee shop or shopping. Businesses are welcoming and all within the main corridor. Several new additions remind everyone that this is a modern town on the move. Eagle also has the traditional summer event Eagle Fun Days that includes a rodeo and Rocky Mountain Oysters.
