What is New with the Catalyst Group?
A lot has happened recently and we are so happy to share the full story of the “Italian Engagement” with you.
The night before leaving for vacation to Italy, Stacy received a surprise package titled: “Where in the World is Stacy Beautiago” (Anyone remember Carmen Sandiego?)
Inside was a newsflash and written instruction that the “Jewel of the Nile” was stolen from Boise and Detective Stacy B. was needed to track down the suspect and help locate the missing treasure. Stacy was given a list of known suspects and a last known location of the thief.
Stacy followed 21 clues, each one helping to narrow down the suspect, as she traveled from Minneapolis to New York City and to multiple cities in Italy. She received clues in every city that she visited, from random strangers to happening upon them at different sites. Her travels took her all around Rome, then south to Sorrento where she found clues on the Capri Island and on the Amalfi Coast. The clues then lead her north to Florence, where she searched through the Tuscan towns of Sienna, San Gimignano, and Pisa finding clues along the way. She also checked out Cinque Terre before heading off to Venice.
While in Venice she had the most romantic princess suite with views of the Grand Canal, which had old world charm and plenty of romance. After finding clues at Piazza San Marco, the Grand Canal, and on a gondola ride, Stacy was informed that she had just missed out on catching the suspect as he was on his way to Jamaica. (Better luck next time) But this was just a set up for the final clue she found as she came back to the hotel room. She had tracked down her final suspect: Czar Hay-mocks June (an anagram for Zachary Jockumsen, her boyfriend at the time).
The final clue said that Stacy had tracked down the Jewel of the Nile and that she could have it under one condition… If she would marry Zac as he elegantly got down on one knee like a prized knight returning from victory (zero signs of nervousness). Stacy was speechless and surprised with everything that was done and was able to muster out a yes between tears, hugs, and perhaps a very slight panic attack! Stacy said it has been beyond anything she could have ever imagined. She is so in love and can’t wait to be the world’s worst Bridezilla!
Congrats to Zac and Stacy on their wonderful engagement!!! We are beyond thrilled for this new adventure!
